Who are we? Kidney Assist program is an affiliate of Chabad At The Medical Centers. Kidney Assist was established to assist those contending with chronic kidney disease and end stage kidney failure. Kidney Assist holds the hands of the patients and donors from start to finish, and educates both parties about what the process entails. Our mission is to steer away the reality of the disease from becoming a cause for despair, and rather empower patients and their families to utilize transformative tools to draw out from the woodwork those who are inspired by a sense of altruism to save a life, be it of a family member, a friend or a total stranger. Though the ultimate success is when a kidney transplant is facilitated, the hope sown in a patient during the process of the search is a success all on its own.
